Miss Manning Graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2012 with a BS in Photography and a BSJ in Journalism. Worked as a ski school photographer and then realized she worked well with kids and became a ski instructor at Mammoth Mountain in California. Ski instructing was one of the most enjoyable jobs and she realized that she was able to adapt a ski lesson to ensure understanding of a concept and was able to engage students and wondered about taking her skills to the classroom. Miss Manning became a paraprofessional at Mammoth Mountain Elementary school in a resource setting and she quickly realized where she belonged. The job at Mammoth Elementary sparked her passion for education and special education. She has since been determined to make sure that each student gets provided the tools they need to succeed. Miss Manning is pursuing her MAT in Special education at Sierra Nevada College. Throughout her journey she has asked for feedback, observed, and refined her skills to keep improving to become the best educator that she can be!
