Observations
The only way to truly improve your craft is to reflect on past practices and seek feedback from people you look up to. On this page you will see pictures of artifacts from past lessons as well as observations from my student teaching supervisor and my lead teacher.

Differentiation
Every student has strengths and weaknesses and it is important to acknowledge that when lesson planning. When lesson planning, I think of each student's weakness and how they can get the most out of a lesson.

Modeling
When explaining a new idea I use the model, I do, we do then you do. This helps students understand the steps and follow the steps. This model also helps the students reflect on their learning and if they are understanding the instructions correctly.

Hands on activities
It is important to know that not every student learns the same way. Hands on actives along with other strategies such as visuals help students remember information while being engaging and fun. I try my best to make as many of my lessons hands on to encourage engagement.
